2012 U.S. Orienteering Championships website provides information about a national event hosted by the Georgia Orienteering Club, a nonprofit organization.

Write Place Designs developed this website using the Joomla! CMS platform, which allows registered users to submit articles and comments via a front-end application. The site will later feature the organization's custom on-line registration system and a blog.

Information Design Samples

South Fulton Scenic Byways brochure was designed to provide bicyclists information about the 29-mile scenic byway, including a map, points of interests, and safety guidelines.

Write Place Designs used Information Design principles to restructure the Georgia Department of Transportation brochure, add informative headings, and improve the map. [Read Sample 750KB]

Kennesaw Mountain trail maintenance map was designed to provide detailed topographical information and accurate trail descriptions of Kennesaw Mountain National Park for its Friends of Parks volunteers.

Write Place Design developed the map by conducting the field survey and then drafting the map in OCAD, a specialized software developed for the International Orienteering community.  [Read Sample 691KB]
