Since 2008, Write Place Designs has been focused on the one thing we do best. We design and develop business communications that are easy to use and understand, look great, and support the mission of small businesses without breaking their banks.

Who We Are

My name is Laurie Searle and I am owner, manager, writer, website developer, and information designer at Write Place Designs. While I am the sole proprietor of my business, I refer to myself as "we" because I rely on a community of affiliates to help deliver artfully designed communications to my customers at a fraction of the cost.

I have more than 20 years experience in Technical and Professional Communications working in the military, corporate, private, and nonprofit sectors. I was inspired to open my own business in 2007, when leading a year-long information campaign to form a new city ignited my passion to serve communities and nonprofits and help them achieve their ambitious goals. 

Our community of affiliates includes talented designers who create website templates, information architects who create website modules, and business development specialists who provide auxiliary services. Among them are a group of virtual professionals (don't you love the Internet) and a group of local professionals (listed in the sidebar) who share a passion for helping small businesses succeed.
